Alliance Maladies Rares

To better accompany children and their families, to make this cause known, which concerns 1 person out of 20 nowadays in France, the Imagine Foundation sees in the Alliance Maladies Rares association (Alliance for Rare Diseases) a precious ally.

The Alliance Maladies Rares’ mission is to provoke, develop, according to the subjects common to rare diseases and rare handicaps, of genetic origins or not, all research, mutual aid, information, training and claiming activities, to :

• Make rare diseases known and acknowledged, on their scientific, sanitary and social issues as well as on the people concerned by them, to the public and public authorities.
• Improve the quality of life and the life span of patients by getting a way to information, diagnosis, care, rights, coverage and insertion.
• Promote scientific and clinical research, give hope of cure.
