Research advances and their clinical applications require highly trained personnel and the most modern technologies and equipment which are costly; they are also indispensable for attracting the best new groups. Fund raising is strategic for the success of the Imagine scientific project and for the construction of the new building. The estimated financial need is 70 million euros.

Presently, about 48 million euros have already been raised of which 8.4 million euros have been funded by the national government, the regional government, the department of Paris and the Association Française contre les Myopathies (AFM).

In the next 5 years, the goal of Imagine is to raise more than 20 million euros as a result of industrial partnerships and support by philanthropists as well as gifts, donations, legacies…
